Question by ncbelle: Christians: Do you think it would be a good idea to wear Christian t-shirts every time you go out?
I personally would LOVE to have a wardrobe full of nothing but jeans and t-shirts with Christian messages on them. I think they are great witnessing tools and also comfy! I’m not big on fashion, because the purpose of clothing in my opinion is to cover ones’ nakedness, not to show your status. If you want to “make a statement”, what better one to make than that you love the Lord?

Doesn’t matter. The Pharisees were full of “religious clothing” and look at them. =) Jesus saw there hearts were hard and they always tested Him and kept the Law of Moses. Jesus looks straight through all that and looks at your heart and faith.
Jesus is God and the only way into heaven. Please pray a sincere prayer with all of your heart admitting to Jesus you are a sinner. Have full faith that His blood pays off all of your sins and accept His gift of everlasting life. I pray that God blesses you with peace. Amen.
It is a good thing, I like people to know up front where I stand.
Actually a lot of people get offended by those messages on christian t-shirts. Not everyone sees the message and starts loving god or christians.
Instead, those t-shirts might pull people away from your religion.
Yeah!!! It’s much easier to draw a bead on you guys with a clear marker like JOHN 3:16 in big Frankie Goes To Hollywood letters.
Oh yeah, cuz you can where those, but when I where a shirt saying: Atheist and proud, I get sprayed with water and called a jack ass.
I am not much into fashion statemants either. most of my clothes are plain. If I were to get into a fasion statements it would be to express my faith.

We do not witness. Only God witnesses. He will draw forth His witness when He chooses to. It is His work and without Him you oppose Him.
You need to learn to listen to Him and not to yourself or what men say.

..It’s not that I don’t want to be friends with Christians.
I actually have at least three Christian friends IRL who I love dearly. =)
It’s just that, if you being Christian is the FIRST thing I get to know about you, and you flaunt and propagate it like no other, let’s just say I’d *probably* walk up to somebody else instead, on impulse. But that’s just me.

Oh I see people wearing Christian T shirts, then they do all kinds of un-godly things as a bad witness to non-believers. Don’t wear the Lord’s name in vain. If you do, be very careful how you act, or you will be degrading the name of Christ.
No, I don’t completely agree with you. I am a christian and I believe that if you are truly living the way God wants you to live people will see that and approach you. God will draw the people by His Spirit, there is nothing that we have to do. But if you just like the t-shirts then God bless you.

Go for it! I like the idea. They are great witnessing tools and Remember the Bible says that once you get saved you are to be a witness. I have one that I got from Books-A-Million that people are always stopping and asking me about. Why, because they want one too. It’s a great idea!
